Igor Fedorov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RC Insurance Broker, announced the launch of the CIRMP project at one of Russia’s largest business forums.
On 3 September 2024, the Centralized Institutional Risk Management Platform (CIRMP) was officially unveiled at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
The presentation took place during the official Roscongress Foundation session entitled “Risks and Uncertainties in a Multipolar World: Solutions and Tools”. The discussion focused on the need for new risk management solutions amid global instability.
In his address, Igor Fedorov presented the concept of an integrated digital ecosystem designed for risk monitoring and control, incident modeling and forecasting, analysis and decision support.
“CIRMP is more than a digital product. It is an ecosystem designed to address multiple sources of risk. We are creating a platform that will bring together advanced analytical capabilities, industry expertise and international best practices,” — Igor Fedorov said during his presentation.
The project attracted considerable interest from the session participants. Speakers included:
- Sergei Gavrilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ownership, Land and Property Relations;
- Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank;
- Dmitry Aksakov, Vice President of the state development corporation VEB.RF;
- Timur Belikov, Executive Vice President of Gazprombank.
The session was moderated by Ivan Ryutov, First Deputy Director of RC Insurance Broker.
The discussion demonstrated broad agreement among representatives of government, academia and business on the need for a systematic, technology-enabled approach to risk management. Participants noted that CIRMP could become a core platform for developing national and interstate response mechanisms, while also expanding investment opportunities through securitization instruments.
